Radial Type (TR)

Miniature aluminum electrolytic capacitors are small sized aluminum capacitors in lead wire type. The capacitance is lower than large aluminum capacitors, but with the better impedance characteristic.





SMD Type (V-Chip)

SMD(V-chip type) Electrolytic Capacitors are designed for surface mounting on high density PCB(Printed Circuit Board). SMD capacitors being essential elements in miniaturization of electronic products, the getting-smaller trend is to deepen.





Block Type (Snap-In Type)

Large aluminum capacitors are classified in three types, snap-in type, lug type and screw type by terminal shape. Snap-in type is mainly used for power supply stage like PCB mounting. Lug type and screw type is used for industrial machine.

Polymer Type (Hi-Cap)

It is a capacitor that uses conductive polymer and electrolytic solution at the same time. It is equivalent to solid capacitor and can be miniaturized and high voltage.





EDLC Type(Green-Cap)

A conventional capacitors have s dielectric sandwiched between two oppsing electrodes. Al aluminum electrolytic capacitor, as an example, uses an aluminum oxide film as a dielectric. However, EDLC does not have a dielectric. EDLC uses the electric double layer to function as the dieletric of actived carbon, therefore EDLC does not use a chemical reaction such as a redox reaction but rather store electricity by means of the physical adsorption of ions to the large specific surface area of activated carbon. EDLC consists of environmentally friendly active carbon and an organic solvent Whereas a conventional battery is made from heavy metals such as lead. EDLC does not harm the environment
